AMW Group is an independent open-source intelligence research organization specializing in the documentation and analysis of hostile-state active measures, narrative laundering networks, and foreign influence operations targeting Western democracies.
Our assessments follow Intelligence Community Directive 203 (ICD 203) analytical standards -- the same framework used by US intelligence agencies for formal intelligence products. This ensures our work meets the evidentiary and analytical requirements expected by institutional recipients.
We produce structured OSINT assessments that map hostile-state media ecosystems, document content chains from state media to Western audiences, quantify narrative alignment using computational methods, and identify network relationships between amplifiers of state-directed messaging.
Each assessment includes:
Our research documents how hostile-state media narratives reach Western audiences -- mapping the infrastructure, intermediaries, and amplification networks that connect state-directed messaging to domestic distribution surfaces.
Investigations span Russian, Iranian, and Chinese state media ecosystems, with particular focus on the structural changes in influence infrastructure following enforcement actions and platform deplatforming.
We apply ICD 203 conventions not because we are an intelligence agency, but because it is the most rigorous publicly available framework for analytical tradecraft. It forces intellectual honesty: distinguishing assessment from fact, requiring confidence levels, mandating counter-hypothesis testing, and demanding transparency about limitations. A document that follows these standards cannot be dismissed as advocacy -- it can only be evaluated on its evidence.
Assessments are produced for institutional and public audiences. All published assessments are available for free download on this site.
